Customer Service Clerk – 2310

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Clerk for our Brierfield, AL operations. This role provides order processing support to Customer Service team, to deliver the highest level of service. Position is a clerical support role for the Customer Service team.
Principal Responsibilities:
– Accurately enters and reviews sales orders within 24 hours.
– Inputs customer and sales data into processing system according to company procedures.
– Ensures all proper paperwork is filed in customer folders to meet department policy.
– Provides backup coverage for Account Representative/Specialists
– Assists with special projects/reporting as assigned
– Supports invoicing customers, invoicing freight, and matching records for payment.
– Develops and maintains detailed written desk instructions covering all major responsibilities.
– May perform additional clerical responsibilities including mail distribution, filing, and general administrative tasks.
– Participates and contributes to company safety program.
– Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
– Education: High School Diploma
– Experience: Three to Six months related experience and/or training; previous clerical support experience
– License/Certification: N/A
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
– Advance proficiency in Microsoft Suite
– Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail
– Capability to multi-task and work under pressure of deadlines
– Ability to work in a team environment and interface interdepartmentally
