You Will

– Apply your knowledge of RS Logix 500, 5000, computer networking, HMI and robotics to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric, motor, pneumatic, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment and plant support machines.
– Program Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems and networking.
– Document PLC programs using RS Logix 5, 500 and 5000 software..
– Troubleshoot anddiagnose problems by applying various troubleshooting techniques with the use of computers, PLCs, voltage meters, current meters, oscilloscopes and electrical formulas.
– Perform electrical preventive maintenance, includingscrew tightening, component replacement, visual inspection, panel cleaning, panel wiring, wire tracing and panel documenting.
– Design and install safety controls upgrades to protect workers and machines, with an eye on meeting or exceeding industry requirements, maintaining our standing as an Americas Safest Companies.
– Engineer MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) improvements.
– Share responsibility of on-call technical support on a rotating schedule.

You Have

– High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Associates Degree in Electrical Studies is preferred.
– Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
– Proficiency with PLC (Programmatic Logic Controller), RS Logix 5, 500 and 5000 software.
– Working knowledge of Rockwell Software RSlogix 5/500/5000, Factorytalk View Studio, Siemens Step 7.
– Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills and manufacturing system knowledge.
– Ability to troubleshoot Industrial controls systems.
– Variable frequency drive experience.
– Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
