Job Description

The Engineering Change Control Coordinator is the Plant Lead for Engineering changes coordination and implementation. This includes follow up to ensure timing is met, accuracy of the changes are correctly loaded into ERP system, and all training on changes are completed.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee change control standard processes for design changes

– Maintain timing chart of Engineering Changes (ECN) of both Launch and Current models

– Ensure deadlines are being met both internally and from Global team

– Maintain updates to Bill of Material

– Part ordering of New & Changed Components; overseeing obsolescence

– Regularly meet with customers to provide updates on change timing

– Confirm accuracy of engineering tracking changes within ERP system (SAP)

– Walk the floor and verify inventory counts

– Build relationship with both suppliers and end customers; negotiate when applicable

Must Have:

– 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

– Experience with Engineering Change Orders, Requests or Notifications (ECO, ECR, ECN)

– Experience maintaining and updating Bills of Material (BOMs)

– ERP or MRP system experience (SAP used in this role, can provide training)

Nice to Have:

– Automotive industry experience

– Exposure to new model launches

– Working with global teams

– Bachelors Degree
