Systems Integrator in the Maumee, OH area is seeking an Automation Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming, commissioning and startup of PLC based automation systems and industrial robots. Fanuc preferred. About 25% travel required.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

The Robotics Engineer will develop and write PLC programs to integrate multiple material handling devices with robot

Edit and interface HMI programs with PLC and robot functions

Develop a complete robotic electrical design package focused on the needs of the robot and end-of-arm-

tooling.

Test, debug, modify and validate all system functions prior to shipment

Start-up and commission completed system at customer site

About 25% travel required

Knowledge of PLC programming

Work well in a team environment

Develop a complete set of electrical design prints utilizing AutoCAD LT

Experience troubleshooting/programming industrial robots, Fanuc preferred

Must be open to travel to customer sites and interact with customers
