Production Manager – SPECT Detector Test

to

manage the resources used to assemble and test scintillation
detectors. Ensure proper staffing and training of personnel to achieve
customer commitments while attaining or exceeding quality goals .

Production Manager – SPECT Detector Test

,

you will be responsible for :

Manage a department staffed with 12 to 20 manufacturing technicians.

Lead production of scintillation detectors used in SPECT imaging
systems.

Ensure system production meets customers expectations of quality and
timing.

Develop efficient processes to improve productivity and product quality.

Ensure the timely training of direct reports.

Establish job rotations within the department to maximize flexibility.

Interface with other SCM groups to maintain proper component stocking
levels.

Interface with support groups to ensure proper quality of incoming
components and outgoing systems.

Provide input for assembly and testing documentation.

Provide written reports and oral presentations on departmental goals and
objectives.

Ensure fixtures and tooling remain in good working order and are
calibrated per their schedule.

Technical knowledge of Molecular Imaging products.

Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a diverse team.

Knowledge of radiation safety.

Experience working in an FDA regulated environment.

Working knowledge of Visio and MS Project.

Bachelors degree in a technical field.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

Minimum 7 years experience in medical device manufacturing or
refurbishment.

Expert knowledge in assembly and testing processes – e.g., reading
technical drawings, following procedures, using tools and test
equipment.

Knowledge of SAP functions related to manufacturing – e.g.,
bill-of-materials, routings, work orders, product serialization.

Ability to work with minimum guidance to fulfill customer demands.

Excellent knowledge of kanban, and 5S.

Excellent oral nd written communications skills.

Working knowledge of MS Office products.

Ability to work well in team settings.
