Hello, Direct-Hire opportunity CNC Service/ Repair Technician A CNC repair company is searching for an in-house CNC service Technician, to diagnose, repair, and replace parts on CNC machines. Responsible for: troubleshooting and repairing both electrical and mechanical aspects of a wide range of brands and models of CNC machines & tools. Working on all brands like Mazak, Haas, Mori Sekie more.

Diagnostics / Repair/ Replace: Fix all brands/Types of CNC.

knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools. .

PLC, Electrical, CNC machine repair

Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of PLCs is desirable

Most machines are repaired and sent back out, same week.

Some same day travel may be required throughout the year

1st shift, Monday – Friday, in Schaumburg, IL

$30-38 per hour benefits and 401K

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years in a machine tool Field Service Technician or repair position with an end user, distributor or builder of CNC machine tools

• Requires strong problem solving skills with excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of PLCs is desirable.

• Must be a self-starter and be highly motivated

• Must possess strong customer service orientation, be flexible to adjust to customer demands and have effective communication skills

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
