The Revenue Team in the Corporate Accounting Group is responsible for the following:

Revenue recognition and reporting across all business markets

Maintenance of all revenue and billing systems

Client billing and accounts receivable management

The Revenue Accountant will primarily be focused on the monthly accounting close process which includes contract review, systems maintenance, journal entries, billing, account reconciliation, and revenue analysis.

What you will do:

Maintain the billing system as a result of new clients, contract changes, or business changes.

Calculate, post, and reconcile journal entries to the Accounting System

Review contracts for new clients and understand product offerings.

Maintain SOX 404 process controls related to specific revenue streams.

Create and distribute invoices to SEI Clients

Monitor Balance Sheet accounts related to specific revenue streams

Provide support to Business Management for specific revenue streams

What we need from you:

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting

General experience, knowledge, and/or interest in financial services recommended

Capacity to understand complicated concepts and solve complex problems

Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and follow through with goals and objectives

Attitude of responsibility and accountability for accomplishing stated objectives

Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and/or Accounting Software a plus.
