Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Government Billing Analyst to support Cash Operations ensuring the Division is meeting established performance objectives and set goals.
The position is hybird with 1 day a week required in the Falls Church, VA office
Your duties will include:
Prepare and submit invoices for government and commercial customers in compliance with contractual and FAR regulations for all contract types
Review contract documents for information or changes related to invoicing
Maintain and update billing folders in accordance with established guidelines
Invoice customers in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring invoices are in compliance with appropriate contracts, guidelines and regulations
Analyzes revenue reports during invoicing process to understand and communicate unbilled balances
Reconcile Unbilled balances, including booked to billed analysis per applicable invoice
Assist with the collection process
Participates in special projects, as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelors Degree plus two (2) years of experience in billing and/or finance, or six (6) years experience in lieu of the degree
Accounts receivable/billing experience with demonstrated success in attaining DSO goals and reducing unbilled AR
Proficiency with computer use including relevant software applications such as MS Outlook and Office, as well as Excel
Problem solving, analytical, and excel skills
Required to be in the Falls Church office every Wednesday

The likely salary range for this position is $57,866 – $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
