Role Description
As an Operations Systems Engineer focussed on MES integration, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Process Development, and Controls teams, to define, implement, and validate MES solutions. Your role will involve managing continuous improvement of MES systems based on feedback from operations teams, ensuring seamless integration between PLCs, SCADA systems, MES, and cloud databases such as Snowflake. You will play a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency, system functionality, and data integrity across the production environment.

This role will be located at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, which is just a short drive outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is available.
What youll do:

Support the integration of MES solutions with manufacturing systems such as ERP, SCADA, PLCs and cloud database storage ensuring seamless data flow and process automation

Oversee the implementation of new MES features and enhancements, coordinating with operations staff to ensure smooth adoption.

Analyze MES data and workflows to identify areas for improvement and work with the MES team and data platform team to implement optimizations.

Provide technical support and guidance to operations staff on MES and data related issues and functionalities

Participate in regular reviews and feedback sessions with the operations team and the MES team to drive ongoing enhancements.

Utilize data from MES, SCADA and cloud databases to generate reports and provide insights for decision making

Own and maintain all production dashboard and KPIs required for daily operations

Deep dive into process data to discover correlations and trends, providing statistical analysis to improve production line KPIs.
