FUNCTION: The Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care to patients within the service line hired under the supervision of the physician. Supports the development and maintenance of the service line continuum of care.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Graduate of Nursing Program, BSN / BA required
Position requires a Masters Degree with Nurse
Practitioner track.
Prescriptive authority required.
Current West Virginia State licensure and registered with WV Advanced Practice Registry.
Progressive clinical experience in area of specialty.
Analytical skills necessary.
Must possess excellent communication skills necessary to communicate fully with patients, staff, outside departments, insurance companies and other providers. 8. Ability to work based on the operational needs of the department.
