Seeking a responsible, organized, dedicated, people-oriented and creative individual to head our agency. We expect our new Executive Director to have the ability to work positively with a wide variety of people. The Executive Director must have the ability to promote staff morale, develop and implement new and relevant programs to increase services and expand programs for the elderly. The Executive Director must be willing to develop contacts with peers, community leaders and other agency personnel to build positive programs and new avenues for program expansion. The executive Director must have excellent communication skills in writing and speaking and demonstrate their use in marketing programs through media, newspaper, grant-writing and speaking engagements. The successful applicant must have knowledge of or be willing to develop knowledge of state and federal requirements, state budgeting practices and legislative procedures and processes. This position requires a bachelors or masters degree in social work, social services, business administration, health services OR 5 years experience in a management role work with the elderly. The Executive Director is responsible for administering all activities of the HCCOA as well as evaluating programs and personnel. The salary range is commensurate with education and experience, with a benefit package including health insurance and participation in a retirement program. Position begins January 1, 2025
