Logisticians are responsible for planning, organizing and executing logistics support requirements for multiple Short-Range air defense programs that support capabilities that protect U.S. and allied forces from a wide range of manned and unmanned air and missile threats.
This Logistics position will support the Northrop Grumman Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Short range air defense (SHORAD) operating unit. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining accountability of Government Furnished Material (GFM), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Customer Furnished Material (CFM) used by the programs. This position develops logistical plans to support and sustain OCONUS operations and provides sufficient material to perform preventive maintenance of Integrated Fires Rapid Capabilities Office (IFRCO) equipment. This position also maintains item/component accountability. Logistician will also be responsible for identifying OCONUS requirements for materials, developing the Bill of Material (BOM) and tracking through execution. In addition to the above responsibilities, the selected candidate will provide cross-functional support to multiple teams to ensure flawless execution.
Basic Qualifications:
10 Years applicable experience with Bachelors; 8 Year applicable experience with Master’s degree. Experience/skill in lieu of degree.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with US Army supply chain processes.
Mid to advanced level experience developing and manipulating MS Excel spreadsheets.
Experience developing Power Point presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience presenting complex information clearly and concisely to government customer and internal leadership and stakeholders
Demonstrated performance anticipating needs, exercising a high degree of initiative and exhibiting advanced organization skills working under general supervision.
Ability to develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate to high-level scope and complexity.
Experience working in a government or government contractor environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Integrated Fires Rapid Capabilities Office (IFRCO), Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) or similar DOD programs
Experience with Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
Familiar with Federal Logistics Database (FEDLOG) and/or WEB Federal Logistics Information Systems
Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
Experience with Agile Process Methodologies (Jira) planning sprints and supporting Scrum Reviews and meetings
Experience reviewing Engineering Drawings and providing logistics recommendations as required
Experience developing procedures and identifying process improvements
Salary Range: $95,400 – $143,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
