About the Role:

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive personalized and dignified care.

Key Responsibilities:

– Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and the use of mobility devices.
– Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
– Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
– Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications on time.
– Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
– Health Monitoring: Report and record any changes in clients health, social, or safety concerns.
– Time Management: Efficiently manage time to complete assigned tasks.
– Team Collaboration: Foster a caring and cooperative atmosphere with clients, families, and team members.
– Privacy Protection: Safeguard clients privacy and confidentiality.
– Safety Practices: Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
– Attendance and Appearance: Adhere to the attendance policy and maintain a neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
– Teamwork: Encourage and participate in cooperative interactions with other staff members.
– Transportation: Provide personal transportation, ensuring compliance with agency policies and maintaining car insurance.
– Client Assignments: Accept and fulfill client assignments as per agency policy.
– Communication: Notify the office promptly if unable to work via email (scheduling@schas.org) or phone (1-866-781-7095).
– Time Sheets: Accurately complete and submit weekly time sheets by 9 AM every Monday.
– Ongoing Training: Attend twelve (12) in-service training sessions annually to stay updated and enhance caregiving skills.
