This is an outstanding opportunity to manage a team and contribute to the efficient and effective operations of our kit production department. As the Team Lead Site Service – Kit Production, you will ensure a high level of support, service, reliability, and availability to both external kit vendors and internal departments.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Labs Site Services Team as a Team Leader for Kit Production. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead an extraordinary team and contribute to the detailed execution of our kit production operations.
This will be located on-site in West Chester, OH.
Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and effective operations of the department, maintaining a high level of quality within the section.
Participate in the daily operations of the kit production team, providing support and following up on complaints/issues until resolution.
Provide training for new personnel and when new processes are implemented.
Follow up on training documentation of the teams.
Occasionally attend study protocol meetings and educate staff on issues requiring attention.
Create work schedule and holiday planning for the teams.
Assist in the Global Kit Production, distribution, and order fulfillment to ensure supplies are processed in a timely manner.
Additional/Specific Job Responsibilities:
Report to (Sr) Manager Site ServicesKitting Operations
Lead Kit Production staff
Provide training to new staff members
Support the Management of the Internal/external PPD Kit Production
Serve as the main point of contact for Kitting Operations and management
Support the Management of kit vendor assignment on order level
Supervise Kit Production staff performance
Identify efficiencies in the kit production process
Occasionally support with creating back orders, order comments, express orders, modifying orders, reviewing/releasing orders
Coordinate the review and action required on custom reports
Coordinate with Kit Vendor/Materials Management
Handle K Drive (kit vendor document repository)
Support with system trainings, courier system trainings, and kit production training
Attend weekly kitting vendor operational meetings
Support kit production activities, including supplies and shipping support, quality control checks, order fulfillment and shipping, labeling activities, and any activity related to kit production
Assist with (un)loading activities
Support resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events
Support information sharing within GSS department
Keys to Success:
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
