Mainframe Programmer

Job Description

PAY RANGE: 70-75/hr.

Job Description: The IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters in a fast paced financial environment supporting mission critical applications.

o Analyzes, designs and develops systems based upon user

o Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems

o Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support

o Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.

o Assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff

o Project leader for specific projects

o Production support with on-call rotation and ocassional weekend support

Skills and Requirements

MUST HAVES :

o Bachelors Degree or 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree

o Mainframe

o COBOL

o Working with EDI File porocessing using Connexion application

o Experience with ACH files and ACH file processing

o Self starter with ability to work independently PLUSSES :

o ServiceNow

o Changeman

o Microsoft Office

o Experience working in mulit-platform environment null
