The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician will be responsible for ensuring that Kanak Naturals products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The role involves conducting rigorous testing on products and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with developmental specifications and regulatory guidelines.

Duties in this role include the following:

– Review and analyze product design specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the products scope, requirements, and functionality.
– Develop and implement testing parameters, including assessments of functionality, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
– Execute thorough testing procedures to validate that products perform according to user requirements and established guidelines.
– Accurately document and log any identified issues and replicate these issues for detailed analysis.
– Collaborate with developers and other team members to report issues, offering suggestions for improvements and updates.
– Create comprehensive reporting formats and protocols to effectively represent collected test data.
– Ensure all testing activities are documented, including test plans, test cases, and results, to maintain comprehensive records.
– Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall quality assurance function within the organization.

Qualified candidates will have the following skills and experience:

– A Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance, Product Development, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
– A minimum of three years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within a product development or consumer goods environment.
– Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, particularly in the context of product testing and development.
– Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
– Ability to develop and execute test plans and cases based on both written specifications and verbal instructions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel a definite plus.
