Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance) Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products throughout the manufacturing process. This includes conducting various tests and inspections, implementing quality control measures, and maintaining proper documentation. As a critical member of our FSQA team, you will play a key role in upholding our commitment to delivering the highest quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

– Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality compliance.

– Document and track quality control data, including test results and production summaries.

– Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues promptly.

– Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.

– Conduct visual reviews of GMPs, SQF, QA, SSOPs, and Food Safety policies.

– Support external audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.

– Monitor and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.

– Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

– Interact with USDA and FDA regarding plant policies and programs.

– Stay updated on industry trends and FSQA regulations.

Requirements:

– 1 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry

– Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices

– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Proficient in using laboratory equipment and tools

– Ability to analyze and interpret data

– HACCP certification preferred

– Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

– Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

– Physical ability to lift and carry moderate loads

– Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
