JOB REQUIREMENTS: Answer phone calls from clients, prospective clients
and opposing counsel; greet clients who come to the office, administer
basic intake; schedule office appointments, conference calls with court,
establish and organize case files, monitor calendars, ensure deadlines
are meet, maintain contact with clients, must be biligual-spanish.
Prepare, proofread, or process legal documents, such as summonses,
subpoenas, complaints, appeals, motions, or pretrial agreements. Mail,
fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients,
witnesses, and court officials. Receive and place telephone calls.
Schedule and make appointments. Organize and maintain law libraries,
documents, and case files. Make photocopies of correspondence,
documents, and other printed matter. Assist attorneys in collecting
information such as employment, medical, and other records. Draft and
type office memos. Complete various forms, such as accident reports,
trial and courtroom requests, and applications for clients.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Seeks an office secretary who is
able to multitask including answer phones, schedule appointments,
complete intake, monitor attorney calendar, assist with meeting court
deadlines and maintain contact with clients. Proficient in word and
PowerPoint, general computer efficiency. Must be Bilingual- Spanish
