JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our Advancement team is a vital part of our mission to
serve our neighbors in need by providing effective communication and
relationship building with the community and our donors. This internship
will work hand in hand with our Mission Advancement team. Students will
learn best practices in non-profit development, utilizing philanthropic
philosophy in communications, support donor relationships with a robust
donor database system (Blackbaud), and share the successes of our staff
and clients through marketing projects. This is a great opportunity to
learn about the inner workings of a non-profit organization and have a
direct and meaningful impact on supporting an agencys mission within
our local community. Qualifications: Pursuing an associate or
bachelors degree area related to fundraising, business,
communications, or related field, with an interest in nonprofit
management. Detail oriented team player with an understanding of
workflow processes, strong writing, and communication skills.
Commitment: 8 to 12 hours per week commitment for at least one semester
Available Internship hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm How
