Assistant Manager
STAFFING SUPPORT SPECIALISTS
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are searching for a 2nd Assistant Manager that to
assist with the coordination of store operations. This leader will work
under the guidance of the Store Director to organize, plan and implement
strategies. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring store
schedules and objectives are met by the team while monitoring inventory
and ordering merchandise based on demand. The “perfect fit” for this
position displays servant leadership qualities is a strategic thinker
and excels at adapting to changes. Location: Beaver Dam, WI Job
Description: Assist with providing day-to-day direction and coordination
of the store location Promote and maintain compliance to all local,
state and federal laws as well as company and department policies and
SOPs. This includes but is not limited to understanding and following
Child Labor Laws, Workers Compensation reporting requirements and
Occupational Safety and Health standards. Train assigned personnel, as
required and complete appropriate training paperwork in a timely fashion
Resolve scheduling conflicts/problems and emergency schedule
changes/needs Oversee all departments/team members, ensuring all
departments operate in an efficient and effective manner and follow
established company policies and procedures Plan and build displays for
ad merchandise Assist with oversight of receiving groceries and
stocking, help when needed Remain aware of new products coming into the
store and ensure they are slotted on the shelves in a timely manner
Provide helpful and accurate feedback for employee performance
evaluations Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, positive, team
oriented, customer-focused attitude within internal store personnel and
between all store locations. Lead by example Keep Store Director t aware
of concerns, issues, etc. warranting their attention, knowledge of,
action and/or resolution in a timely manner Work in unison with the
management team to achieve store objectives Maintain store records,
files, accounts and databases in areas of responsibility, as required.
Ensure security and confidentiality of assigned company records,
financials, databases, files, etc Attend Monday department meetings and
communicate pertinent information to MODs and/or other store personnel
