MNPrairie is looking for a manager who will oversee and manage the human resources functions and staff. They will oversee compliance, policies, procedures to assure adherence to laws, rules and regulations. The HR Manager will be responsible for all MNPrairie s talent acquisition; benefits administration, performance management; classification and compensation programs; collective bargaining; labor relations; safety program including worker s compensation; training and staff development activities; and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Executive Director. Duties include but are not limited to: Manages staff and systems Makes hiring recommendations, orients and trains unit employees. Coaches and supervises unit employees. Manages implementation of federal, state and agency requirements. Monitors legislative and policy changes at state and federal levels. Participates as part of a management team in formulating changes. Collaborates with internal customers and partners in administration of programs. Serves as an advisor and strategic partner to the executive director. Participates in preparation of agency budget for applicable program/business area. Fosters environment of innovation and continuous improvement. Participates in the collective bargaining process. Administers classification and compensation programs of MNPrairie. Oversees the administration of the employee performance review process. Serves as safety director for the organization. Leads and administers a centralized talent acquisition and hiring process. Investigates discrimination complaints, issues or harassment, or legal complaints. Oversees and/or complies, summarizes and prepares various state and federal reports. Oversees the administration of employee benefits.
