Genesis10 is seeking a Reporting Analyst for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. This specific role will involve creating, maintaining & executing reports & dashboard from various data sources. Key Responsibilities: Understand reporting/dashboard/visualization needs and build static & dynamic reports & dashboards as needed. The primary data source is Smartsheets; reporting tools to use include Smartsheet native reporting and Power BI. Required Basic Qualifications: Ability to readily assess reporting needs from key stakeholders, asking clarifying questions to confirm the needs & determine whats possible given the Smartsheet data model. Ability to build/maintain reports/dashboards using a quick, iterative means, while collaborating with the stakeholders to refine the reports/dashboards as they are being built. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of reports & dashboards. Strong knowledge of specific computer software, such as MS Excel, Smartsheets, Power BI, & SQL. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred. 8-10 years experience required. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $58.00-$63.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
