Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Systems Facilities Engineer – to join our – team! Position Summary: The Systems Facilities Engineer performs duties under general supervision and guidance from the Senior Manager, Facilities, this position provides technical engineering expertise during the programming, planning, design, construction, commissioning, turnover, operation, and maintenance of Park Nicollet Health Services facilities and infrastructure. Work Schedule: FTE 1.0, days Monday – Friday Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of work experience in building systems, commissioning, or a related field, with an emphasis on field engineering. Bachelor of Science degree in an engineer discipline preferred. Professional Engineering license preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: Professional Engineering license preferred. Familiarity with applicable building codes, plus specific detailed knowledge of energy, mechanical and plumbing codes is preferred. Broad experience with steam, chillers, cooling towers, laboratory fume exhaust, pumps, hydronics, refrigeration, plumbing, natural gas, compressed air, building controls (pneumatic, DDC, lighting), meters (steam condensate, chilled water, water, gas, electrical), vintage HVAC systems, new emerging technologies is preferred. Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills. Record of success in system design and installation.
