Summary The Facilities Engineer will provide maintenance, electric,
and hydraulic engineering services and support.
Job Responsibilities
Ensures that the facilitys equipment and machines are maintained
properly and working correctly.
Oversees the facilitys maintenance program; identifies and analyzes
equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
Schedules and maintains preventative maintenance for all machines and
test stands.
Provides technical training to management and other team members.
Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and
engineering consultants.
Performs weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe
and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate
all hazards.
Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to
building emergencies on a 24- hours basis
Required Skills/Competencies:
– Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering.
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May oversee and support the maintenance, electric, and hydraulic work
teams
May prepare work schedules for plant maintenance teams
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating
and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations.
Computer Skills
Basic computer knowledge and ability to research information via the
web.

access and navigate all areas of the production facility. There may be
prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
