The home office for this position is our Lenexa, Kansas location.
What You’ll Do
The Children’s Hospital Association’s Information Technology team is growing. This position will report to the Chief Information Officer and will lead the strategic direction and execution of our data transformation initiatives. As a visionary, this leader will integrate advanced technologies, drive change, and align digital strategies with our overall business objectives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data transformation roadmap that aligns with the organization’s goals.
Analyze and map the customer journey to understand its impact.
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, develop and communicate a digital transformation strategy, and establish and manage a digital transformation portfolio, adjusting market strategy based on established KPI’s.
Identify and leverage emerging technologies (AI, IoT, data analytics, etc.) to enhance customer experiences and build a competitive advantage.
Lead organizational change efforts to foster a digital-first culture, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and engagement throughout the transformation journey.
Coach, mentor, and actively engage in the professional development of staff by providing or supporting opportunities to broaden and enrich roles.
Empower and challenge staff through effective delegation and by providing clarity and role expectations, enabling greater ownership and contributions to results while promoting accountability.
Identify opportunities for digital innovation and growth.
Lead data transformation projects.
Ensure data security and privacy in digital initiatives.
Required Experience:
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field is required, master’s preferred.
10 years’ experience in Information Technology and Big Data.
8 years’ experience in health care database management.
2 years experience in AI strategy development.
2 years’ experience in BI data visualization to tell a story.
Demonstrated ability to align digital initiatives with overall business goals.
Ability to develop and present information in varied mediums; strong public speaking/facilitation skills.
Ability to work with a diverse resource base/interact with individuals at all levels.
Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
