This is a part-time position available in the Rio Grande City area (23.50 hours per week).

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate Home Care Aide provider to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities:

– Provide health care services in patients residences.
– Perform domestic and household tasks.
– Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital when needed.
– Administer simple prescribed medications.
– Assist with clients personal care activities.
– Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition.
– Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
– Helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
– Assisting the patient with cleaning and laundry.
– Purchasing groceries and household products, as well as preparing breakfasts and lunches.

Requirements and skills

– Provide companionship and basic emotional support when needed.
– Experience as Home Health Aide or Provider preferred but not needed Employer willing to train.
– Caring and compassionate personality.
– Must be bilingual.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.
– Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more.
– Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
