About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborating with business partners to identify business problems, generating ideas to tackle the problems, testing hypothesis through rapid prototyping and stablishing target state architecture to achieve business goals.
– Defining, publishing, and communicating data strategy, standards, patterns, reference architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps to enable data sharing across the enterprise.
– Partnering with other architecture fields to design data solutions with a strong focus on security, scalability, observability and operational excellence.
– Applying the latest research and industry trends to build best in class enterprise data solutions for data consumers.
– Being a hands-on architect.
– Building solution prototypes and conducting experiments to evaluate architectural alternatives.
– Managing, governing and promoting enterprise data model management practice.
– Developing enterprise conceptual, logical and physical data models for batch and streaming architectures.
Qualifications:
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
– Experience with modeling HR data and Workday required.
– 5 years of experience with advanced SQL and scripting (python/pyspark) development.
– 2 years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure (databricks/redshift).
– 5 years of enterprise data architecture, design patterns, tradeoff analysis and delivery acceleration in cloud-native environments.
– 3 years of experience with data solutions enabling analytical, operational, data science and ML data flows.
– 2 years of experience with developing or working with taxonomies/ontologies.
– Experience working/collaborating with master data management and data governance.
– Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
– Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
– Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar analytical field, desired.
– Experience with data modeling tools such as DBT, desired.
– Must be a U.S. citizen or national or a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder).
