Salary: $35,000 – $40,000/year Commensurate with experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to serve as a Community Liaison for our initiative. This part-time role is ideal for a stay-at-home parent looking to re-enter the workforce or a retired social worker seeking extra income while making a significant community impact. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners to promote The Basics principles. You will work closely with the leadership team to support workshops, resource distribution, and outreach efforts. Your work will empower families to support their children’s development, strengthening the future of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for community partners involved with The Basics Mohawk-Sacandaga.
Organize and facilitate workshops for parents and caregivers on early childhood development.
Collaborate with local organizations (schools, healthcare providers, community centers) to promote The Basics initiative.
Assist with enrollment in the Basics Insights text messaging program, providing ongoing support to families.
Track engagement and progress, using data to refine outreach and support strategies.
Support marketing efforts through social media, community events, and local outreach.

Job Qualifications
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
Permanent Certification as a School Social Worker or meets eligibility for a Provisional School Social Worker Certificate from the Office of Teaching Initiative (OTI) in the NYSED.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
Passion for early childhood development and community-based work.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage part-time hours effectively.
