Role Summary
Join our team asBartender serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by managing all the hotels Food and Beverage outlets. Ensuring the quality of product and level of service, resulting in a superb guest experience.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

– Comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, liquor, non-alcoholic and cocktail recipes and ingredients.

– Passionate desire to connect with guests and live the company brand.

– Comprehensive knowledge of menus, ingredients and culinary philosophies. Eager to create pairing beverage options with menu items.

– Greeting and acknowledging all guests within 1 minute of approaching and / or sitting at the bar.

– Maintain complete knowledge of and compliance to state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving. Request proof of age from guests when legal age is questioned (anyone appearing under the age of 30 should be asked for identification).

– Keep work area clean and organized maintaining health safety procedures for guests.

– Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code.

– Communicate effectively in English with co-workers and management to their understanding.

Required Qualifications

– Walks and stands during the entire shift.

– Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.

– Remains stationary for long periods of time.

– Frequent washing of hands.

– Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

– Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.

– You must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
