The incumbent has strategic oversight, administrative and fiscal responsibility for Environmental Services, Dietary, Facilities and Security Departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or other relevant degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Three (3) years of Supervisory experience within a healthcare field.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
1. A background in at least one of the Departments being managed is preferred.
2. Five years experience in a healthcare leadership position.

1. Strategic, administrative & fiscal oversight responsibility for departmental operations including establishing departmental objectives, planning, budgetary and fiscal responsibility and ensuring positive and consistent employee relations.
2. Oversees Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives assuring compliance with WVUM mission, strategic direction and goals.
3. Promotes and maintains effective communication with and between medical, managerial, bargaining unit and employee staffs.
4. Oversees preparations and monitoring of all statistical, operational and capital budgets for the division in conjunction with Senior Leadership. Assures compliance with targeted fiscal objectives.
5. Recruits and retains qualified staff making sure they are adequately trained to provide competent care through development, implementation and ongoing support of appropriate competency-based orientation, education, and evaluation programs.Develops an environment which fosters creativity and organizational development.
6. Supports or participates in various hospital committee and performance improvement activities as appointed.
7. Assures regulatory compliance with managed units following CMS, OHFLAC, WV State Fire Marshall OSHA, and any other applicable standards.
8. Participate as a member of the Environment of Care, Infection Control, Operational Excellence, Quality and Patient Safety Committees, and any other assigned committees.
9. Coordinate various service contracts and supplemental use of contractors to generate maximum added value to overall operating costs.
