Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be primarily responsible for troubleshooting and repairing extruder machines, mills, and automated equipment. Your day-to-day tasks include following a preventative maintenance schedule, performing repairs on boilers in the compounding department, and conducting building maintenance as needed. You will also be tasked with reading schematics to address and repair breakdowns, working with 120-480V, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. While PLC experience is not mandatory, it is considered a plus. Your own basic hand tools are required, although larger, more expensive tools will be provided.

Work Environment

This is a direct hire, union position requiring work in a 3rd shift schedule from 6:00pm-6:00am, 4 days on and 4 days off, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. The first 90 days will involve training on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm.
