Machine Builder | Direct Hire

Job Description

Responsible for assembling machines for the glass/window industry. Will test equipment to customer specifications, troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise. Travel to company sites as needed (5-10% of the time, mainly in the US, sometimes in Canada). Layout, plan, and complete subassembly work, mounting of commercial components to large and small frame weldments with high accuracy. Work from blueprints for determining location and placement of commercial components, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies, machined parts, and fabricated parts. Use hand and power tools to complete assemblies.

Hard Skills

2-3 years of mechanical aptitude (machine building, military mechanic, auto mechanic, industrial mechanic)

Must be able to use hand and power tools

This is a fully on-site position in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Work Environment

DIRECT HIRE: MECHANICAL MACHINE BUILDERS. 1st shift 7:30am-4:00pm (somewhat flexible). Pay Rate: $20-$32/hr. Small company with 40 employees. Only machinist in the facility. Small, family-type atmosphere. New, well-lit, and temperature-controlled facility. Location: Twinsburg, OH.
