CNC Machinist

Job Description:

Operate a variety of CNC Machinery that produces parts for the steel industry.

Responsible for setting up machinery.

Make adjustments to machines (tooling, settings).

Utilize drawings, blueprints, schematics.

Quality inspection of parts, utilizing micrometers, calipers, gauges.

Qualifications:

CNC Machinist experience (2 years)

Blueprints (2 years)

Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical competencies

Calipers

Micrometers

Thread gages

Go/no-go gages

Work Environment

3rd Shift: 11pm-7am with a $1.50 shift differential. Must be open to working some Saturdays and Sundays (Sundays are double-time) – 2 weekends a month. This is primarily a stamping facility where fasteners for the steel industry are made. The company has undergone positive changes, many employees have been with the company for over 20 years.
