Job Overview: The Linde BAG Production Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation or our Air Separation Processes at our plant in River Rouge, MI. This is a challenging and rewarding job that requires the employee to perform LOTO, equipment startup and shutdown, quality functions, analyzer calibrations, monitor and control multiple production processes, and identify and communicate operations abnormalities to the maintenance and management staff. Primary Responsibilities: – Adhere to all Safety, Quality, and Compliance policies at their plant location. – Start up, shutdown, and operate the production processes. – Perform calibrations on a variety of process analyzers. – Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) functions. – Complete daily rounds reporting abnormalities. – Able to read, understand, and follow procedures. – Able to climb to elevated locations and work from platforms. – Perform quality functions. Qualifications: – High School Diploma Required – Associate degree in a technical field preferred – 2 – 5 years of experience in any of the following fields is desirable but not required: – Air separation or similar complex manufacturing process control function – Instrumentation and control – General maintenance of industrial equipment – Compressors and compressor maintenance – Industrial mechanical maintenance – Industrial electrical or electrician – Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) – Military technical fields About Linde: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
