After completing comprehensive training, Shop Essentials Sales Reps operate and maintain their mobile shop equipment and diagnostic tool showrooms, and work with franchisees and company stores to increase sales of diagnostics and equipment. Sales Reps focus exclusively on the needs of critical industry shop owners and their technicians, ranging from the basic to the most advance shop equipment and diagnostics solutions in the market. Sales reps have the full support of the Snap-on management team, and are regularly reviewed for progression opportunities within the Franchise Performance Teams. With solid performance, they are typically progressed quickly through additional roles in the field sales organization. What You Bring to the Team: High school diploma or GED (Bachelors degree preferred) Ability to learn and follow a process Interest in developing and fostering ongoing relationships 5 to 7 years of retail or route sales experience Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in tools/mechanical and diagnostics aptitude Ability to quickly become a product expert in selling and demonstrating diagnostics and shop equipment (experience using them is preferred) Ability to drive a 26,000 pound commercial vehicle State drivers license that has been valid for the last 36 months, with no major violations, and no more than two minor violations in the three years prior to hire Snap-on continually strives to be an employer of choice and offers a Great Place to Work.
