MUOS Web Software Developer

Scottsdale, AZ

Contract Position

Web Software Developerjob inScottsdale, Arizona is available with
Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company. In this job
you will support the next generation in developing mission critical
systems for our national defense. You will be a part of creating the
most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence,
Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force,
Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our
military.

Responsibilities:

– Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise web applications
in a small team to modernize data management for customer projects.
– Store project data in a relational database to provide customers
with rebuild, upgrade, and sustainment information, and enable data
mining for license management and system configurations.
– Perform technical analysis in web application planning, engineering,
and design, ensuring secure system administration for hosting and
deployment.
– Develop RESTful APIs, keeping Information Security best practices in
mind.
– Provide detailed recommendations on software tools, implementation
techniques, and technology selection to meet current and future
business needs.

Qualifications:

– U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of
Defense Secret security clearance.

– Bachelors degree in Engineering or STEM with 5 years of
experience; or Masters degree with 3 years of experience.

– Proven experience with web development environments, including
Django Python Framework, HTML 5, HTMX, JavaScript,
and CSS.

– Experience with relational databases like MS SQL Server.

– Experience with source control tools such as GitLab and Git.

– Ability to work on complex problems with diverse scope and data
evaluation.
