What would I do?
Manage email traffic of incoming invoices.
Review incoming invoices and route for approval.
Track invoices through the internal AP process.
Maintain accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) on assigned projects.
Provide support for audits, which may include research and project reconciliations.
Assist with review and entry of vendor and employee payments.
Track open purchase orders and ensure completeness of accounts payable files.
Perform additional assignments and/or duties, as directed by the Accounting Manager.
Professionally interact with colleagues, members of the public, clients, and business associates.
Comply with all company policies and applicable laws.
What experience and required qualifications do I need to be considered?
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, and use of accounting software
Self-starter, ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy of data and information
