Principal Responsibilities

Manage and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and annual back-office invoice to pay (ITP), Credit To cash (CTC), order to cash (OTC), and record to report (RTR) operation activities executed by both the Company’s onshore and offshore resources.

Manage the month-end closing activities and support the team and business to resolve issues encountered to comply with established due dates.

Review balance sheet accounts reconciliations.

Establish processes to ensure accounts reconciliations are maintained in good standing following internal controls requirements.

Facilitate the timely closure of reconciling items for all accounts to minimize the risk of material misstatement in the company financial statement.

Lead ITP, CTC, OTC, and RTR continuous process improvement initiatives.

Monitor the development of and oversee the BPO vendor management office to ensure all contractual and operations requirements are met, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Define the workload split between the onshore and offshore BPO team to meet management needs.

Identify process gaps, improvements, and solutions and implement all related remediation.

Review the quarterly Internal Controls Self-Assessment and establish the remedial course of action.

Manage all internal and external audits by establishing a proper control mechanism to ensure timely delivery of the information/data requested by auditors.

Lead and facilitate projects, meetings, and priorities as determined by management.

Required Skills

Experience with IFRS reporting.

Experience developing a strong control environment that is SOX compliant.

Knowledge of integrated accounting/general ledger system such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

Advanced knowledge of Excel including experience with pivot tables, organizing data, creating reports and visualizations, and advanced formulas.

Experience managing a third-party Business Process Provider (BPO). Experience managing large teams.

Intermittent international travel.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field

Seven (7) years of accounting operations experience.
