Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Data Analyst for the department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for IT Clinical and Administrative Systems, the Data Analyst provides data extraction, collection, analysis support and report writing for the Center for Psychiatric Health and Genomics (CPHG), focused on support for the Genomic Psychiatry Cohort (GPC) database. This database provides a platform for research on genetic contributions to psychiatric maladies. It consists of ~75,000 records, collected over 25 years from multiple sites in the US and abroad, of people who have contributed biosamples for genetic analysis and answers to psychiatric questionnaires. The Data Analyst will develop and oversee data infrastructure, data management, and perform analyses to facilitate the accomplishment of applicable research objectives.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
