What you will enjoy doing
- In this role you will identify, register & qualify potential new suppliers and process the required documentation to include in the company approved supplier vender list
- You will participate in the research of supplier commercial data and spend analytics used to support the development of supplier Procurement Strategies and adopt related strategies to your working environment.
- Support business groups and Material Group buyers with supplier quotes at the project proposal phase if required
- Further you will assist to evaluate the quotations of bidders and prepare bid analyses (TCO evaluation) and issue recommendation to Project Team
- Administer and continuously maintain supplier database to ensure that all required data is available, correct, and up to date
- Coordinate with engineering when additional technical information is required
- Expedite orders, interacting with manufacturing and vendors to assure work orders are on schedule is part of your tasks
What makes you great
- You are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in one of the following majors: Supply Chain Analytics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any other related engineering discipline.
- You have previous experience, preferably in a manufacturing business environment and knowledge of and ability to apply fundamentals of procurement.
- Further you have the ability to read and understand commercial implications of specifications, drawings, documents, and other related information
- Excellent customer service and business acumen is needed for this role.
- You have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, with excellent skills in Excel. SAP/MM and other Company and discipline specific software applications are prefered.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company suit your profile as well as strong negotiation skills and knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills suit your profile and the ability to apply those skills in an industrial environment and you are highly creative with initiative and drive

Hourly Pay Range: 27.00 USD – 38.00 USD
