At Conax, the Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Manager is responsible for the management of services and processes that support production and facilities for all Conax Technologies sites. Ensures that best safe practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is maintained for our teammates and their activities. As the Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Manager you will lead our Safety Committee and initiatives, supervise a small maintenance team, and manage our facilities maintenance.

This role is responsible for leading and managing all facility EHS programs and systems to ensure worker safety and compliance with all applicable USDOL, OSHA, US EPA and State regulatory agencies. To do this, you will coach and mentor supervisors and employees to achieve EHS objectives. Supports individual employee EHS knowledge and development, as well as develops and implements training programs to ensure all workers have current EHS knowledge and EHS policies have been adopted across all sites.

This role is also responsible for general facilities maintenance as well as leading and managing all facility projects. This includes site-wide infrastructure services management, including but not limited to, cleaning, security, waste management, etc. Ensures appropriate mechanical and electrical services are in place including back up system maintenance and improvements. Manages preventative maintenance and breakdown coverage for production equipment. Must be on-call for emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

If you have strong communication and solid judgment and decision-making skills and have a bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety, industrial hygiene, applied sciences, engineering or applicable work experience, then we are interested in hearing from you. The ideal candidate will have previous EHS and/facilities management experience.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based on the job location and can be adjusted based on experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. The salary range for this role is $72,000.00 to $103,000.00 annually based on experience.
