Job Summary:

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including coordinating the movement and storage of materials in the warehouse, shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists in shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials, checks-in materials, matching purchase orders and sales orders for inbound and outbound shipments.

Coordinates and directs drivers to various dock locations and off-site facilities.

Verifies shipping information and records all information within company standard operating procedures and maintains data in the company ERP system.

Problem solves data issues and communicates to warehouse staff as appropriate.

Provides outstanding customer service, both internally and externally.

Updates customer specific inventories in their systems.

Records shipping information into a warehouse database.

Coordinates and tracks trailer movements in support of warehouse operations.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education Requirements:

Associates degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service and office clerical, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in material handling and/or logistics is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills – Required:

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook applications.

Ability to make decisions and exercise judgment to manage order flows.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.

Confidentiality:

The Warehouse Coordinator maintains confidentiality with respect to Upstate Niagara’s customer information.

Management Responsibility:

The Warehouse Coordinator works under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisors/Manager and operates within established processes and procedures. This is an independent contributor role with no managerial responsibility.

Work Environment:

The Warehouse Coordinator operates in a general office environment with extended periods of time spent sitting, and is required to operate standard office equipment (Ex. Fax, copier, scanner, printer, and computer).

Pay: $21-$23/hr.

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
