JOB SUMMARY: This position provides clerical support to the facility nursing team, which includes maintaining adequate medical supplies for the units they support ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains inventory or medical supplies by ordering supplies with established par levels set by DON

2. Inventories medical supplies as requested by Administrator or Regional VP

3. Tracks medical supplies on designated electronic software/computer

4. Maintains the supply area in a clean, orderly fashion

5. Informs the DON and/or Administrator of concerns related to supply levels or quality

6. Coordinates and ensures physical transportation appointments and documents on calendar as directed by the Unit Coordinator

7. Monitors lab schedule and reports as requested by the Unit Coordinator

8. Completes unit filing

9. Verbally responds to call bells informing appropriate staff to respond

10. Answers unit telephones and forwards calls/messages as directed by Unit Coordinator

11. Prepares MD appointment packets for external medical appointments.

12. Completes forms as requested

13. Completes monthly reports as required/requested (copier count, glove count, defibrillator reports, etc.)

14. Performs any other duties as assigned by Unit Coordinator, DON or Administrator
