Schedule: Full time, day hours.

Main Functions:

Partners with the Director of Corporate Communications.

Provides strategic communications support to assigned system clients.

Develops and implements multi-faceted, strategic marketing/communications plans in support of system’s need and goals. Plans include but are not limited to digital, print, radio, TV, billboard, direct mail, events, intranet, email, and web.

Responsible for managing sponsorship requests within budget parameters.

Oversees brand governance and actively stewards Thompson Health’s corporate image.

Additional Responsibilities:

Responsible for project management, including weekly tracking reports.

Builds and manages relationships with external advertising agencies and related vendors.

Contributes to the planning, writing, editing, and proofing of appropriate documents and publications.

Serves on appropriate system committees where representation from Corporate Communications is necessary.

Exercises discretion, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Required Job Specific Competencies:

Leads projects, including planning, communications, execution, and follow-up.

Communicates via in-person meetings, written planning documents, phone, and email in a concise and comprehensive manner with all internal and external partners.

Demonstrates highly effective project management skills.

Provides marketing communications insights, strategies, tactics, and measurements.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and content management systems (Internet, Intranet, and other proprietary software).

Superior organization skills, including process development.

Effective people management skills and demonstrated emotional intelligence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.

Additional training or certification in related disciplines deemed valuable.

Min. 5 years of equivalent job exp. (preferably in healthcare or ad agency) leading & producing multiple multi-faceted marketing & communications projects.

Solid project management & interpersonal skills with extra consideration given to candidates who have developed selection, management, and evaluation processes to meet corporate goals.

Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, and more required.

Complexity of Duties:

Highly creative and innovative in using a variety of effective techniques to solve communication goals.

Able to work independently with little or no direction.

Supervisory Responsibility/Supervision Received:

Supervise freelance designers/photographers, etc. within budget.

Working alongside department director, instrumental in annual budget development and reconciliation.

Supervise Corporate Communications resources to complete projects

Pay Range: $59,000 – $72,000

Starting Pay: Based on Experience
