Per diem, days, evenings, some Saturdays
MAIN FUNCTION
Assists in the nonprofessional aspects of preparing and distributing medications & performs the clerical duties of the dept.
All medication-associated duties are performed under the direct supervision of licensed personnel (Registered Pharmacists).
REQUIRED JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates skill in daily communication including effectively gathering and disseminating information.
Demonstrates flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments.
Demonstrates skill on proactively resolving problems, recommending, and implementing continuous quality improvements.
Demonstrates knowledge in aseptic techniques for the preparation of IV solutions.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the Hospital’s Information System (Pharmacy and B/AR), as well as the ability to work in Microsoft’s Word and Excel.
Provides customer service and support in a manner consistent with the health system’s goals and expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
High School education with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
2-3 years of relevant experience.
Associate Degree preferred.
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
Pay Range: $17.61 -$21.00
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
