Job Description:

This position will allow for REMOTE work, however the candidate must be local to Chantilly, VA, and able to attend in-person meetings as required.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Customer is seeking a Salesforce Developer to serve as an integrator between business needs and technical solutions. Must be able to work creatively and efficiently to solve difficult technical problems.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Software engineering skills with Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL)

Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)

Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plusSalesforce Certified Platform App Builder

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent

Experience: 3 years

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Developing custom applications and performing unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages

Performing data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader

Designing and developing functionalities and web integration using Apex, Designing user interfaces using Visualforce pages

Using Force.com IDE to deploy and migrate applications

Utilizing Eclipse as a platform for development, testing and code deploymentSales Cloud or Service Cloud experience

Technical understanding of Lightning

Firm Understanding Force.com, Communities, Service Cloud

Understanding of Salesforce Design and Development Best Practices, Apex Design Parameters, Governor Limits, Shared Platform Best Practices

Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology

Collaborate effectively across teams

The likely salary range for this position is $115,256 – $155,934. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
