Description:

Network/Voice/Cabling Technician:

1. Must have experience with cable management/cross connections

2. Must have experience with cable/voice management

3. Must have experience tracing cable

4. Must have experience with structured cabling structured cabling (PBX and LAN) and use of tools like or similar to Fluke.

Required skills

110 punch down

Familiar with data equipment

Fluking switch ports aka using fluke tester

Running link runner

Fluking a data point

Cross connects

Activating jacks

Cat 5 cat 6

Voice Engineer and Voice Technicians

Resources will perform shadowing the first 6 weeks prior to taking over hands/eyes support

Resources will travel to a number of locations in Baltimore and DC

Resources will be reimbursed for all travel and parking expenses

Skills:

cabling, fluke, voice, pbx, lan, siemens, fluke devices, voice & data, cisco voice, IMAC, Cable, Support

Resource tasking:

Must have experience with cable management/cross connections

Must have experience with analog/digital- cross connect cables all over the building

Must have experience tracing cable

Must have documented experience with cable voice management

Rack/Stack (servers, racks)

Replace wireless access points

Siemens 4K phone system is what is in use (not a requirement but nice to have)
