What You Will Be Doing:

As the Human Resources Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the HR department with projects including Open Enrollment, documentation processing, updating and posting information on communication platforms, and assisting in auditing information and processes.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

Assist with Open Enrollment procedures including processing documents, running reports, sending communications, and aiding employees in the process.

Documentation processing which includes uploading and filing employee documents in the document system, running reports, and issuing requests for documents.

Communication platforms which involves reviewing information posted on SharePoint, UKG, and internal/external websites for accuracy. Will also included updating information once reviewed. This may involve drafting communications for approval to be sent by the HR team.

Assist with mailers, including printing, processing envelopes, and mailing.

Auditing, Reviewing, and Updating projects.

Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Education/Experience:

Must have a high school diploma and be enrolled in an Intern qualified undergraduate program.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft products, and HRIS systems.

Environmental Job Requirements:Environment:

Most of your time is in a climate controlled environment with possible noise and vibrations carried over from the shop.

Physical:

Most of your time will be spent sitting at a desk, working on a computer.

Occasionally lift, carry, and lower 1-15 lbs.

Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn if in a shop environment.

Travel:

Travel not required.

To be successful in this position you should be organized, show an attention for detail and a sense of urgency. You should have basic computer skills, be safety conscious and have the willingness to learn. The ability to multitask, follow direction, and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.
