Job Description
Perform activities related to compounding, weighing, mixing, and processing materials. Operate equipment safely throughout the facility. Ensure the even flow of properly mixed compounds during the manufacturing process. Check all raw materials for contamination using color perception, weigh, and mix materials as specified in formulations/instructions. Inspect scales for accuracy and operate equipment according to standard procedures. Visually check mixing consistency of each batch and report inconsistencies or issues to the Production Supervisor. Load raw materials and oil into the mixer and mix according to the schedule and instructions. Monitor mixing conditions and adjust bulk oil setup as needed. Ensure the mixer is clean of material buildup for changeovers and keep the mixer chamber clean between batches. Maintain a clean mill and mill pan area after every batch to prevent contamination. Maintain efficient machine flow to minimize production loss.

This is a fully on-site position in Tallapoosa, Georgia.
Work Environment
DIRTY AND HOT! Black carbon will get on you, but showers and fans are available for heat relief. Work directly with a few other team members. The environment is not climate controlled; the temperature inside reflects the temperature outside, making it very hot in the summer. Shifts: 1st – 7am – 3pm MON-FRI $19/hr, 2nd – 3pm – 11pm MON-FRI (will train for 1-6 weeks on a middle shift – 11am – 7pm) $19.50/hr. The environment can be dirty due to the product, but showers are onsite for those who want to use them.
