We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a well established construction company. The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with project budgets. This role will work closely with project managers to provide financial insight and support throughout the lifecycle of the projects. Responsibilities

Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects, including tracking budgets, costs, and profitability.

Prepare project-related financial reports, including monthly project forecasts, cost reports, and variance analysis.

Monitor project budgets and provide detailed variance analysis.

Review and process project-related invoices, subcontractor payments, and change orders.

Reconcile project costs to the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.

Prepare and post journal entries related to project accounting, including revenue recognition and cost allocation.

Assist in the preparation of project financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, billing requirements, and project-specific financial guidelines.

Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all project financials are up-to-date and accurate.
